A Non-Public Agency (NPA) is an organization certified by the California Department of Education to provide specialized services for students with disabilities. • Certified by the state of California • Partners with districts to provide services not available in-house • Ensures students receive individualized support outlined in their IEP

BID = Behavior Intervention Design • Creation of individualized behavior intervention plans • Developed by a certified Behavior Intervention Case Manager (BICM) • Based on research and tailored to student strengths and needs

BII = Behavior Intervention Implementation • Trained staff deliver the intervention in the classroom or learning environment • Strategies help students manage behaviors and build coping skills • Overseen by a BICM to ensure consistency and effectiveness

• Students with an IEP under OHI (Other Health Impairments) or other qualifying categories • Determined by the IEP team based on student needs • Services provided in collaboration with the school and district
